H.S.S Type & CoatingHigh Speed Steel (H.S.S) Circular Saw
H.S.S Type
HSS-DMo5
Circular saws in high speed steel (5% molybdenum content) suitable for cutting-off steels and alloys with hardness between 500 N/mm² and 800 N/mm². The saw blades are used on manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic sawing machines to cut tubes and pipes, open sections and solid sections up to 200 mm.
HSS-Co5%
Circular saws in super high speed steel (5% cobalt content) suitable for cutting-off steels and alloys with hardness above 800 N/mm². The saw blades are used on semi-automatic and fully automatic sawing machines to cut tubes and pipes, open sections and solid sections up to 200 mm.
Coating
VAPO – Special Oxidation
Produces a layer of iron oxide (Fe3O4) on the surface, which increases the wear-resistance and increase overall life. Suitable for general cutting.
Application: Structural, Non-alloyed tool steel
Suggested cutting speed: 30 – 60 m/min
TIN – Titanium Nitride Coating
TiN coated saw blade has higher oxidation temperature, which allows cutting of materials with high tensile strengths and with higher cutting speed rates.
Application: Low-alloyed steels, Mild steel
Suggested cutting speed: 80 – 140 m/min
TIALN – Titanium Aluminium Nitride Coating
Due to a sophisticated multilayer coating, TIALN blades can cope with higher cutting speeds, feeds and tube hardnesses. Suitable for dry cutting of high tensile strength materials.
Application: Stainless steel, Aluminium, Inconel
Suggested cutting speed: 100 – 250 m/min
